My husband, Paul and I live in a small town called Keystone Heights. Paul is the senior pastor at Friendship Bible Church. If you're ever in the neighborhood by all means stop by.
I'm the proud grandmother to eight grandchildren each with their own unique personalities. I continue to marvel at God's creativity and ability to make everyone so unique and wonderfully made.
With regard to my writing, it is a gift from the Lord. My goal is to be found worthy of the task He's given me and to be honorable in all I do. I love the opportunity to meet and speak with folks who are called to write or who have been touched by some of my writing. It is a confirmation that I'm doing what the Lord has called me to do.
Currently I'm working on a couple book proposals. My agent is Tamela Hancock Murray. Tamela and I have known each other for years and we enjoy working with one another. I love writing both Historical and Contemporary Christian Fiction.
My blog: There are many reasons one starts a blog. I chose not to jump on the blog bandwagon when many found it all the rage. Instead, I waited and prayed about it. I didn't want to just repeat writing information that is out there. And I wanted to be certain I would be consistant writing a daily blog. In the end I found a unique idea that I believe is helpful to other writers like myself. 19th Century Historical Tidbits is where I share all sorts of interesting facts I've picked up over the years.
I'm aslo the founder of American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) Years ago I began hosting writer workshops on America Online, then I brought those workshops out to the internet. One of the reasons for these workshops was the desire to help others develop the craft of writing Christian Fiction. Today, I'm happy to report that is still the foundation of ACFW.
I do love hearing from my readers, so by all means, drop me a line at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
